The Earth is Moving
November 2024: The earth is finally moving!
After receiving site plan approval earlier this year, the Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Centre has finally received its Building Permit for its new facility!
Phase 1 of construction which includes rough grading and foundation work is currently underway on our property located at 8520 McArton Road. Completion of the main building is expected by the summer/early fall of 2025.
Special Recognition Award
On September 10, 2024, Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Centre received the Ottawa Humane Society's Special Recognition Award for its work in caring for thousands of injured, orphaned and ill wild birds and championing the welfare and protection of wild birds.
